Württemberger Hof in Ludwigsburg

An appealing environment for a nice occasion. The dishes have always been excellent. The service has always been very good, at best too eager. The plates should not be cleared away while people are still eating. That can certainly be improved quickly. I can fully recommend the restaurant.

We were able to spend a wonderful stay in this restaurant. I am severely disabled and got a parking space next to the house and there was a ramp at the entrance. The condition was very attentive and the food was very tasty and prepared with love. I will be happy to stop there again on my next visit to Stuttgart

Last weekend we celebrated communion in the Württemberger Hof. Service and ambience were wonderful. The menu and the quality of the food were just excellent. The back, high room in which we celebrated was decorated with a lot of love. We can recommend the location without reservation.

We had to wait a long time for lunch. The food did not meet our expectations.

We ended up here because of the many good reviews and I can say right away: Unfortunately, I cannot understand the reviews. The photos of the location made us expect a good upper middle class and a nice, noble ambience. We got a walk-through table right next to the kitchen, old cutlery, glasses and dishes, plastic bottles and Sinalco drinks mixed together in a strange carafe. Totally uncomfortable, guests and waitresses constantly walk past you, doors open, doors closed. We kind of felt like we were sitting at a side table even though we had made reservations weeks ago. In any case, very uncomfortable, unprivate. Very strange menu, little choice (which of course doesn't always have to be bad). Only ONE kind of dessert ... The game dishes requested by phone were also unfortunately over. The waitresses were very friendly, but their type would have been more like a bistro (sorry). The salmon was very firm to the bite and tasted like it was packaged by the discounter - also looked 1: 1 like this. Coincidence? In the pumpkin soup there were many firm, sausage-shaped, tasteless strings of cream with a bite. No creamy cream in the soup, as I actually know from a pumpkin CREAM soup. The main course, on the other hand, was actually very tasty, which we didn't expect after the starter disaster. The meat was delicious and tender. The vegetables are a bit heavily seasoned and greasy, but tasty. We kept our distance from the dessert, also because we didn't like this one, and we also tended to pinch an espresso. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

I was there alone today. At 11.30 a.m. there weren't many guests, but after that it got crowded: regular guests, a wedding and two schooling parties. The food and service were great as always. And my place on the terrace under a cloudless sky with the old trees is a dream. Thank you for 1.5 hours of pure enjoyment! I am looking forward to the next time!

Unfortunately, I cannot understand the euphoria and have thought for a long time whether an assessment is necessary. But yes, for everyone who works like us, it might be helpful. I don't think the owners are interested anymore, because otherwise they would notice all of this themselves. We stopped there on the basis of recommendations. The location and the garden are very nice. However, the ambience is dusty. The tablecloths outside look as if they were 40 years old, with many stains that no longer come out. The umbrellas could also be renewed or at least hosed down. The glasses & plates are at least as old as the building. Full of scratches and streaks of many uses, plus clunky and simply no longer up-to-date. The owners have been around for a long time. A re-launch would have been possible financially over the years, I think. First of all, we ordered a champagne and champagne rhubarb. The essence came out of the bottle and was just plain sweet. The sparkling wine was not sparkling wine but Prosecco. Anyone who knows about wine knows the difference. It is only stupid if the guest notices it and the waiter excludes a certain level of knowledge due to external features. For 6 € the glass I expect more quality. The sauces for the main course came out of the package or contained binding powder that was not properly dissolved. The grainy, crumbly structure was noticed. The worst part was the quality of the meat. The pork was so poorly kept, poor food and slaughter that we tasted the pure adrenaline (urine sweat). I classified a restaurant in this price category a bit differently in terms of quality. Wine selection is a tragedy for wine enthusiasts. Boring Swabian-Baden selection of simple quality. Here, too, nothing modern, no pep, no important information for orientation. The service was nice and old school. I'm sorry for all the money we left behind. For these really high prices, I expect more quality in the product and ambience.

Always delicious dishes, game from our own hunt, exquisite wine list, ice cream from our own production, friendly and very effective service, wonderful terrace in the countryside surrounded by tall trees, elaborately renovated villa.

Very good cuisine in Ludwigsburg. We have been to the Württemberger Hof repeatedly. Professionals work in the service, friendly and unobtrusive, great dishes come from the kitchen. Whether Swabian or non-Swabian, everything was perfect again.

We had pumpkin soup, schnitzel with chips and salad and pork medallions with spaetzle and vegetables! Everything was fresh and tasty. The wait for the food was not too long and the service is very friendly! Prices are appropriate for the quality of the dishes. If you like home-style cooking, I can definitely recommend the Württemberger Hof.
